Closes 11pm on the 12th of Sept 2021

The Break O’Day Community Wellbeing Project is proud to present the Festival of Wellbeing as part of Mental Health Week.

Saturday 9th of October 2021

10am - 4pm

Bendigo Bank Community Stadium St Helens

Festival Vision

Our vision is for the festival to be a celebration of all things wellbeing. Celebrate what we love about living here and discover new ways to look after ourselves and others wellbeing. The theme is Wellbeing Conversations. This is a festival not an expo.

We are hosting a wellbeing space in one of our amazing community resources to generate conversations with our community and you, and create connections and awareness.

You will be showcasing what is available in our community to support and improve individual and community wellbeing. Your space will be an opportunity for you to open a conversation and either "show and tell" or encourage others to "come and try".

The festival is inclusive, accessible and COVID safe - there will be processes that need to be followed, restrictions on some activity types, and controls around social distancing and numbers at the event at any one time.

The ABC of the Festival for our community and conversations

Awareness – get curious and uncover the people, places and support available in our community - you only have to ask

Belonging – you are one of us, we are strong, there is strength in our community - you only have to ask

Connection – you are seen, heard, and valued. Our community is amazing, let's talk about how we can make it even better

Festival Atmosphere

  • Main stage acts – local performances, learn about locals

  • Indoor and outdoor - Interactive hands on wellbeing spaces for activities, displays, information and demonstrations

  • Picnic areas – buy or bring food, have fun, and play

How you can get involved

If wellbeing is central to your business/organisations or groups purpose, and you want to be a part of this inaugural event:

You can host a wellbeing space to:

    • Empower our community, to learn about caring for and creating wellbeing and the mental health and wellbeing services available to them.

    • Sharing ways to support or promote wellbeing and foster belonging through presentations and interactive activities.

    • Raise your profile in the community and network with others.

    • Make new or improve connections and create a meaningful and memorable event.

We want to hear from you!
