Festival of Wellbeing 2021
Free Community Event
The Break O’Day Community Wellbeing Project proudly presented the inaugural Festival of Wellbeing as part of Mental Health Week, on Saturday 9th of October 2021 | 10am - 4pm at Bendigo Bank Community Stadium St Helens.
Festival Vision and Theme
This festival is a celebration of all things wellbeing, our theme is Wellbeing Conversations.
Come and find out what is available in our community to support and improve individual and community wellbeing.
We want you to have conversations with individuals, organisations, businesses and community groups, who want to share the ways they support wellbeing. We want you to be able to participate in activities that you may want to add to your life to increase your own personal wellbeing, or maybe you can pass on and tell others about it.
Let's celebrate what we love about living here in our Break O'Day community and discover new ways to look after ourselves and others wellbeing.
Let's be curious, have fun, talk about wellbeing, share stories and make new connections!
The ABC of the Festival for our community and conversations
Awareness – get curious and uncover the people, places and support available in our community - you only have to ask
Belonging – you are one of us, we are strong, there is strength in our community - you only have to ask
Connection – you are seen, heard, and valued. Our community is amazing, let's talk about how we can make it even better
Festival Atmosphere
Main stage acts – local performances, learn about locals
Indoor and outdoor - Interactive hands on wellbeing spaces for activities, displays, information and demonstrations
Picnic areas – buy or bring food, have fun, and play
We are so lucky to have an amazing stadium as a community resource, and grateful to be hosting the event here.
The festival is inclusive, accessible and COVID safe.
